ABOUT ME
Hello, Iām Erin.
For as long as I can remember, I have been obsessed with interior design, laying out rooms and organising my spaces. Over the years this developed into helping friends and family and I recently decided to launch my own business.
Homes and interiors have always been part of my life. When I was growing up, my dad ran a family building company so my summers were spent working on building sites and learning DIY. I then went on to study Design Engineering at university and graduated with a Masters. My passion has always been designing spaces rather than things, something which only developed further whilst renovating my first flat and more recently my first house, which is why I launched Erin Kennedy Design. It is a place for all of my passions.
I particularly enjoy figuring out ways to elevate spaces without breaking the bank, be that by sourcing furniture second hand, using paint to lift a room or coming up with creative ways to disguise or up-cycle old furniture or fixtures.
My engineering background keeps me grounded and my knowledge of design thinking helps me to think creatively about every problem.
